about the stitcher

Hello! My name is Rinny. I'm a 25 year old girl who loves to cross-stitch and play video games, and I love to combine the two! I'm still new to this website stuff. I've done basic code editing on Tumblr, but after Tumblr banned JavaScript (making a lot of cool themes obsolete), I decided to try the indie web in order to blog things. I'm still not a hundred percent sure what I'm gonna put on this site, but that's the fun, isn't it!

I first learned to cross-stitch when I was a kid, taught by my late grandma. I did a few small things that I can't fully remember. I can only remember two things I made which was the Achievement Hunter logo (the pixel version they used in Minecraft) and a Mogar bookmark. After that, I dropped the hobby bc ADHD is fun, but now I've recently picked it back up. I watched ComplicatedKnots' Youtube Series where she crochets every Pokemon and I decided to do that with cross-stitch!

When it comes to gaming, I've been gaming since I was a kid! My earliest system I can remember was a pink (purple?) Gameboy Advance SP. Ever since then, I've kind of been a slut for Nintendo, but I got really into PC gaming in my teen years! Pokemon is a franchise I was always fascinated by but never allowed to enjoy (thank u satanic panic /s *rolls eyes) Eventually, I convinced my mom to let me enjoy it, and I finally got my first Pokemon game, Pokemon X! Since then, I've played Gens 1 and 4-9. I'm currently playing through Gens 2 and 3 for the first time! I've also played a few spinoff games like Mystery Dungeon, Legends, and Pokemon mobile games. I could literally talk about games for HOURS.
